From Tyler-Tallman Hall on the campus of Davidson College in Davidson, NC comes a performance in the College Concert Series featuring the Kontras Quartet, quartet-in–residence with the Western Piedmont Symphony in Hickory. They perform a program of Beethoven, Schubert, Ravel and Piazzolla. Then we’ll have performances from a memorial concert honoring renowned pianist and Davidson College faculty member Ruskin Cooper, who passed away unexpectedly in 2012. The program ends with an archived performance by Ruskin Cooper from Love Auditorium on the Davidson campus recorded in 1999.
