This American-themed program is a sampling of three concerts from the Carolina Chamber Symphony Players' annual Carolina Summer Music Festival in Winston-Salem, NC. The first, American Landscapes, offers a celebration of bucolic life in The States. Next is Music in Revolutionary Salem, featuring 18th century patriotic and Moravian works, and finally, Moon River: The Words of Johnny Mercer, a concert featuring jazz combo arrangments of some American standards.
