A concert program inspired by the Mediterranean rounds out the month on Carolina Live. Venerable conductor Edvard Tchivzel leads the musicians in Greenville, SC in a program that opens with a typically sparking overture by the Italian opera composer Gioacchino Rossini. Then there are back-to-back symphonies by Luigi Cherubini and Georges Bizet, before winding up with a delightful suite by Frenchman Jacque Ibert.
